Killdare Bee Supplies

Kildare Bee Supplies was set up by Roger Kolaric in 2020 during the pandemic. 

 

Roger is from Croatia, where he kept bees since he was a child. He learned his beekeeping skills from his father who introduced him to bees when he was 4 years old. He managed 100 hives in Croatia for over 20 years until he came to Ireland in 2018. Roger has a wealth of knowledge about bees. He maintains that healthy bees are happy bees and the only way to succeed is to listen and watch what is happening in the apiary. Work with your bees and give them whatever they need and they will reward you. Many of the beekeeping techniques in Croatia are different to Ireland.  Roger has many new ideas and new equipment which can help to improve Irish beekeeping. These will be marketed through our website, so keep an eye out for ‘New stock’ on our site.
